Winning Tip #6: Use learning styles and schedules that work for each child.
Children are not carbon copies, and shouldn’t be treated as such. If you have more than one child, you already know that they are individual and unique. Remember this when you create a homeschooling schedule for your family. If you are homeschooling more than one child, don’t expect them to all learn at the same pace, or work well with the same schedule. Tweak your teaching routine to meet the need of each child.

"Wish it was written sooner, because..."
I was homeschooling my nephew during the majority of last year, and I really would have benefited from the tips contained within the pages in this book. Mrs. Wilbanks points out specific tips, and why they're important. Of these tips, I should have found a local support group. This would have helped me hear from and understand that the homschooling process is just that, a process. (a challenging one, at that) I also should have learned to "chill" because, as Hope points out, we're not always going to be on our game all the time. I recommend this book for those who are new to homeschooling, or for those who are looking for a gift to give someone who is just getting started. Not only is it a good reference to read through and digest from the get-go, but it's also one that makes a handy desk-reference to look on upon when struggles or challenges begin rearing their ugly heads.

"48 Pages of Winning Inspiration"
I have been homeschooling my child for three years now, and I wish I had had this book at the very beginning. This small book packs a punch as it bolsters the confidence of the new homeschooling parent. And even though the author has indicated this is a beginner's guide, I found the wisdom of each idea to be a gentle reminder to even the experienced homeschooler. I will be keeping this book on my shelf to pull down whenever I have one of those days that I am wondering why I chose to homeschool my child. It will be a great resource to me as it reminds me of what is truly important and helps me to keep our homeschool program fresh and new.
