The novel Streets Of Blood is set in Warsaw Poland year after the destruction of the Jewish Ghetto 1943.The Polish residents decide to rise against their Nazi aggressors.

Another year has dragged by,the Nazi occupation since the failed 1943Jewish Ghetto uprising 1943 was still as strong as ever. The Polish resistance alongside the Polish Home Army commanded by Bor Komorowski decided to launch a surprise attack on the German occupiers. On August 1st 1944 a home Army of some 45,000 Poles including resistance and civilians launched a planned attack on the Nazis to take back the Old Town District. This action resulted in the massacre of almost every living man, woman and child in the most horrendous and brutal ways possible.

Hitler wanted to show the rest of Europe the consequences of making a stand against the Third Reich. The city of Warsaw  was razed to the ground in retaliation.

A nove of fiction loosley based on facts of betrayal, murder and in house fighting by all factions concerned; forced Tomas Budzyn to lead is small group of resistance fighters away from the Home Army, to fight their own war, bringing their dark story out into the light.

A hunched figure of a man huddled deep into his shabby overcoat, hurried along Nalewki Street. He had just crossed the decimated Krasinski Garden, long stripped of its trees and foilage, used for winter fuel by Poles and Jews alike.
The tall grey buildings along his route looked imposingly down on him.The cold rain and bitter wind stung his face. He hurried along like a man on a mission, barely lifting his head to see where he was going. He hardly took any notice of the figure taking shelter in a shop doorway as he hurried by. The lone figure wore a Fedora type hat with the brim pulled down, shading his face in the halflight. His hands were firmly dug into the deep pockets of his long black leather coat. He glanced from left to right before falling into step some 30yds behind the hunched man, keeping his distance and well into the shadows. His soft soled shoes making hardly any noise on the wet pavement.
A sinister looking black limousine slowly trundled into the far end of the street and stopped. Its engine purred quietly. The windscreen wipers slowly clicked out a rhythmic beat as they swept back and forth across the glass, pushing the rainwater to each side of the windscreen.
The car began moving, crawling towards the unsuspecting man,who still had no notion he was being followed. The man was more interested in shielding his face against the weather and advoiding puddles of water forming on the cobbled street.
The car came nearer without its headlights on.The follower increased his pace until he was almost running.
The attack was over in seconds. The black jack struck the back of the hunched mans head with a sickening thud,at the same time as the cars rear door swung open. The hunched man uttered a grunt as his legs buckled and gave way beneath him.A dark mist clouded his brain. He felt himself being bodily bundled onto the back seat of the car.He heard the car door slam. The echo of Germa\n voices sounded distant in his ears as he drifted in and out of conciousness.
The engine roared, the car jolted into gear then screeched away in a cloud of oily smoke at high speed towards 25 Szucha Avenue,Gestapo Headquarters.

Streets of Blood, the title says it all.The Wola district of Warsaw was to become the Waffen SS killing grounds. 1,000s of residents were
dragged from their homes and murdered in the most brutal way, during the Nazi blood lust.Men,women and children, some burnt alive, others having their eyes gouged, children being disembowelled The action was revenge on a massive scale, retaliation for the Warsaw rising. Was it right for the resistence to fight back with the same brutality.
