Scorpio, Daughter of pluto,
Godchild of Mars
by Weslynn McCallister
The Earth trembled with a violent
shudder as Pluto announced the imminent arrival of his daughter, Scorpio.
Second of The water triplicity, the
daughter of Pluto rules the reproductive and destructive process. A fruitful, feminine sign of long ascension, Scorpio is nocturnal, courageous, passionate, and tenacious.
God-child of Mars, Pluto's daughter is ambitious and investigative. Scorpio is often found among surgeons, chemists, detectives, and researchers.
Adorned in a silken gown of crimson and midnight, she shrewdly inspects her vineyards. Sparing with Leo and Aquarius, she captures her lifelong mate among Cancer, Capricorn and Pisces.

Introduction to Astrology
The horoscope or natal birth chart is a map of the heavens and their relationship to Earth at the exact time and place of your birth. At the moment you inhaled your first breath, you also inhaled the planets electro magnetic energies.
The zodiac is determined by the vernal equinox; the position of the sun on or near March 20 when the days and nights are equal in length. It begins at zero degrees of Aries, marking the beginning of the Tropical Zodiac which is most used in Western Astrology.
A 360 degree circle, it is divided into twelve signs of thirty degrees each, representing both the positive and negative characteristics of behavior and development. The effects on each area of our lives is determined by the positions of the planets and their interactions between the signs, houses and planets of our natal and progressed horoscopes.
The natural order of the zodiac is: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.
Each chart is unique just as each person is, even twins. Few souls are born at the exact time and place. Those that are, are said to be twin souls. Though their lives are similar, free will bestowed upon us by God sets in and alters lives. The transits of the planets over our natal horoscope indicates trends and challenges that will soon present themselves by their planetary vibrations. Though astrology is not fatalism, it does allow us to arrange our lives harmoniously with nature's lives.
