"When a Woman Loves a Man" will leave you breathless, captivated and without a doubt, vulnerable."
Bernice Angoh has penned a series of classic love poems that will surely give women and men something to talk about for years to come.
In My Orchid Mind
I thought to write a song for you, today
as I sat by an old neroli brook
but it was all blues and reds, soft purples and pinks
colors that fade in comparison to you
In my head I had it all
the silent moments pregnant with vows
the moment I first met you
frozen into time and tucked away like amber lessons
the fragrance of youth, of summer nights
One wet slipper sneaking out the door
ten wetter kisses and a woman became a girl in the arms of a boy
your butterscotch lips melting my mimosa heart
You became the reason for every season’s treason
my viola cucullata
my papaver rhoeas
my gentiana verna
I wrote a bouquet for you today my boy
but when the trees and birds and winds
and paper and pen--anxious eavesdroppers
readied to taste of you
I selfishly saved it away in my orchid mind.

The pages of Bernice Angoh’s WHEN A WOMAN LOVES A MAN are as profoundly absorbing in their exploration of the joys of love as the title is disarmingly simple with its cautiously heated implications. The poems and stories that make up this exceptional book achieve a kind of double brilliance and intensified sense of wonder because Angoh’s words sing not only of the romantic love that allows a woman’s soul to blossom with beauty and a man’s spirit to shine with grace, but of the divine love that blesses humanity with the power to overcome its crippling terrors, moral failings, and heartbreaking disappointments. We move with the flow of the poet’s pen from shadowed valleys of despair and trauma to shimmering peaks of healing and personal triumph. As many readers are destined to experience, her journey is an enthralling one to behold and, even more, beautifully thrilling to share.
Author of The Bridge of Silver Wings 2009 and The American Poet Who Went Home Again
"The consummate word weaver...Bernice Angoh's verses will make your heart dance and your spirit reach. Don't miss a beat of her elegantly crafted poems of love, hope, and inspiration."

Gardens of Love
Womensselfesteem.com highly recommends ...'When a Woman Loves a Man'... as a most unique poetic delivery of Love!
Bernice Angoh takes us on many journeys and even fantasies through the gardens of love, sexuality, family, commitment, life, spirituality and sacrifice using her very poetic and inspiring words! Her poetry and stories bring to the forefront the importance of Love and how it is a never-ending sharing of each others spirituality, mind and body. Her insight and depth of ones love is like a stream of worlds that never end.
'An Angel’s Love & Champs Elysees' will most certainly awaken any lost feelings that first brought a couple together. It tightens all of those loosened ties that once
bound you together! It is my favorite story written by Bernice.
A few of my favorites are ‘The Choice’, ‘Snowflake’, ‘You Color Me Red’ and ‘I Appreciate You’. Bernice continues to mesmerize her readers with thought provoking scenarios and stories which she so eloquently writes!

|When a woman loves a man....she gives her all, body , mind and soul!. Your poems are very heart felt and true. There is nothing like love. when in love and when you are loved in return you feel like you can accomplish everything. It is such a beautiful thing that no matter how many times we get hurt, we are drawn back to it (LOVE).|

In multidimensional muses, poems and vignettes in her book "When a Woman Loves a Man," AuthorsDen writer Bernice Angoh reveals the exciting secrets of being a Proverbs 31 (10-31) wife—“whose worth is far above jewels”—a wife who is enthralled and fulfilled with the certainty she is loved equally in return. And she shows you how you can have the same thing for yourself.
I've been married to the same woman for 58 years. Based on my personal relationship experience and having read this marvelous book from cover to cover, I tell you all that if you read this book with an open heart, your life and your marriage will never again be the same. What an incredible gift to you and your loved one!
With love, respect and admiration to Bernice Angoh,

|Anytime a book is done, it is a great achievement and the author should be congratulated especially by true friends. The phony ones will get jealous and maybe not say a thing, start treating you funny and acting all stupid. Even some family members, not to leave out AD, will do the same. Maybe this is just in my world, then again it is reality in human relations. Both of my oldest brothers and some of my friends got all stupid when I did my first book, then when I did the second, one of my brothers really showed his ass. Any way enjoy your success Bernice and don't let any of the fools blow it. cheers|
