J.W. has a crush on Angie Palermo, whose father is a Mafia drug and pornography distributor that has business ties to the Kamikazes.
More trouble arises when Quinn, leader of the Diablos, befriends Marcus Spellman, a young black mechanic who works on Quinn's '42 Ford. Quinn invites Marcus to join the Diablos, and that event causes internal conflict inside the Diablos and external conflict with the redneck racist Kamikazes.
