FBI Agent Rab Jacobson, like many top-notch professionals, finds his personal world falling apart. His misguided priorities have cost him his wife, his young daughter and even his faith. He's a good cop who's lost his way. As he tries to sort things out, he must defer his own priorities in order to neutralize a diabolical terrorist plot against the United States. He teams up with an old college chum and fellow “Aggie” (OSI Agent Shawn Brubaker) to investigate the series of attacks.

First an airliner departing from Boston’s Logan IAP is sabotaged. Then a prominent politician’s plane crashes mysteriously. Now the Senator from Florida is dead. Who's next? Where will the next disaster occur? Someone had better find out fast! The trail of terror leads up the east coast from Florida to Washington DC. Thousands of lives are at stake, and the clock is ticking!

Reader Reviews for "The Pegasus Affair"

Reviewed by B. Greer 8/7/2010
The Pegasus Affair is a circle of intrique that comes to an exciting conclusion at a point of logic—each character is introduced throughout the book and revealed as relevant to the story smartly but in his time. It was fascinating to see each character tie to his plot—you will not know exactly how until you read further. Mr. Greer also quotes biblical passages and uses prayer reservedly but enough to tie the human spirit to the goals—whether it something going on within the family or in the defense of our country. These are accurate examples of how all of us have thought and prayed at one time or another in our lives when faced with dangerous scenarios or personal failures—I mean it. I know.

I recommend the book. It is a novel of high stakes. It is a realistic, clean book yet it is also a work of constant tension in the challenging arena of geo-politics, terrorism and defense work. From the towers in airports to a homeless vet to a couple of boys fishing, it delivers a great story that’ll cause one to think of faith, hope and diligence—as the enemies of freedom work their hardest to destroy as they are trying to do today.

The Pegasus Affair by B. Davis Greer is a must read. I can see the book in a movie. It is full of fast paced adventure about the FBI, the OSI, including the military; that keeps you reading to the very end, with an intriguing end.

This review is from: The Pegasus Affair (Paperback)
Although it was written just prior to 9-11, I read this book during the week before the attempted car bombings in London and Scotland (Summer 2007). It clearly shows how the growing threat of terrorism is constantly at work, right under our noses and around the globe. The author takes the reader through an all too real scenario of how the freedoms we enjoy in this country (and throughout most of Europe) today make us all extremely vulnerable to the depraved minds and motives of terrorists. The storyline helps the reader better appreciate the work of our military and federal agencies in heading off the deadly plots of those who want to destroy the United States and our way of life. At the same time, the reader is reminded of the supernatural powers of God in protecting His children and the comfort He provides to those who know and trust Him.
