| In ye olden days, the medical opinion was that it was safe to masturbate only if males stood on their heads during it. Which makes quite a funny image. In the late 1800's a physician advised the father of a boy with epilepsy, it was the result of too much masturbation and removed the teenager's testicles. In the movie The Cement Garden, a mother, modern day basically, advised her son he lost a third of his blood each time, and might kill himself. That had a happy ending. Mom died. The boy stopped and took up with his sister. All the humor possible is needed to bury this idiocy. The stupidity and fear and guilt continue. This book makes us laugh at what has caused such harm. |
