They make fun of her and she runs off and gets grabbed by a gator.
The other ducks ban together and get her free from the gator.
Their mother teaches them a lesson to never go off on your own.


Excerpt
Lily the Duckling finds out she is different. When her brothers and sisters make fun of her, she lets her temper cloud her judgement. Lily swims off upset and thinking everyone hates her. Not watching where she is going, she gets closer and closer to the cattails where there are gators. Suddenly a gater grabs her but all the other ducks dive at him and he lets go.
Stunned and stiff she lays there. Finally she opens her eyes she is alive.
