Joseph Forrelli, a man who suffered through child abuse resulting in a bad right arm, is
able to start a restaurant which was fairly successful but the freeway by-passed his location.
Still with a highly attractive waitress he does a good business. A policeman, a bullet lodged
in his skull mistakenly kills the waitress’s boyfriend with her in the car. She was nearly killed
in the flaming wreck but Joe was able to save her after knocking out the crazed policeman.
Joe is shot and burned badly in this rescue and spends a long time in a hospital where he falls
for his nurse; not knowing the waitress had been in love with him all along. The waitress and
the nurse are both in love with him and the love is agonizingly returned by Joe. He builds a
long dreamed-of home and the two women find a way to co-habit with him.
During a vacation tour, they manage to survive a second Mob attempt to get Joe to
head the Mob’s business in California when they kidnap the two women in Italy. They are
saved after a harrowing experience filled with rape and brutality where the kidnappers
conspire with a white slaver from Africa to sell the two women. They are rescued by Polizia.
Joe manages to head up the Mob in California run by Joe’s Italian aunt and gets enough
evidence to wipe out the Mob and stops a religious fakir from doping his parishioners. Joe’s
sister was caught by the fakir and is hooked on dope. She is committed to a hospital to clear
up the addiction. A short time later the waitress tragically dies from cancer. After a period
of debilitating grief, Joe marries the nurse who is pregnant with his child. She gives birth to
a daughter. A rival Mob from Italy, still after Joe, attempts to kill him but the plan is thwarted
by the ex-members of his mob who served their time and saves Joe and his family.
