For All The Cat Lovers
Hello, We're Santa's Helpers
Always on the job at Christmastime
If you decorate your Christmas Tree
look beneath it and you'll find
bits of ribbon, pieces of string
scraps of paper and other things
We like to pounce, we like to play
Don't blame us, we can't help it
God made us this way!
Santa's furry, little helpers
Nothing can ever get past us
We grab the ornaments off the tree
and roll them around in the dust!
And even if the gifts wear a tag
“Do not open until Christmas Day”
Why that's just an invitation
for us to tear them open and play
Come on, get in the holiday spirit
Lets have some of turkey on the table
and if you won't share it with us
to steal it we are more than able
We'll give you a Christmas nose kiss
You know you can't resist us at all
when we are purring against your legs
under the fat, green mistletoe ball
Santa's special helpers
We can cuddle with you by the fire
and try to jump at those stockings
hanging on the mantle from a wire
