Amazon Amazon Barnes & Noble.com Smashwords Stan I.S Law
A collection of stories written from the point of view of man's best friends and other friends who rule our lives.
The stories are about love and humor. And metaphysics, and humor. And friendship, and humor. And even sci-fi, and, of course, humor. If you don't believe me, read them. Some of them. Any of them. You'll see. That is to say, if you love cats and dogs. Or, even, if you don't. Read them anyway.
On Smashwords you can sample them for free...

“You might as well know that every single story in this book has been recorded by either a Cat or a Dog. Sometimes both. We don’t actually write them ourselves, but, when our well-meaning ‘masters’ are asleep, we feed the stories directly into their subconscious, and then, on awakening, our human friends put them down on paper. Or on a computer screen. Memory. Computer memory. They don’t always come out quite right, but, well, nothing is perfect in this world. It’s not like in the Kingdom.”
5 Star Review by: Hanna on Sep. 21, 2010 :
My thanks to Bartek and Kaytek and Maniusia and Pimpa and Maytek. And most of all the Stan Law. Reading his short stories I alternated between tears and laughter. And even then, most of the tears came also from laughter. Thanks again, Stan.
5 Star Review by: Bohdan Czytelnik on Sep. 19, 2010 :
I had a long chat with my cat, and equally as long with my two dogs. Let me tell you. Every single word Stan Law wrote is the absolute truth. If you don’t believe me, ask your own cat. Or dog. Or any stray you meet on the street. Only… for some reason, my dog refused to discuss The Broohos.
5 Star Review by: Adam Kerry on Sep. 19, 2010:
I loved Sharing, and Dreamax, and now I’m up to my neck in cats and dogs and their complex, indomitable problems. If ever a writer showed us what our pets think of us, surely, Stan Law must be in the forefront. I shall never think of my menagerie in quite the same way.
PS. I also read Sci-Fi 1. Henceforth, I’ll regard the fish in my aquarium in quite different light. At least, I think it’s a fish…
Review by: Sylvester Drake on Sep. 21, 2011 :
Surely, we all talk to our pets. We talk sweetly, we share with them our thoughts; sometimes we even talk in anger. But here, Stan Law does not follow this route. Instead he listens. And, boy, does he hear things! You’d better listen too. Five Stars!

"Two of a Kind? Never! It is none of my business what kind of fur a girl wears on her back. Or, if she had a fling or two, on her own time. But, to pee on the carpet on her first visit is a bit much. Really!"
