Amazon Author Becky Ayers
As children grow up they will go through many changes. While most are very easy to deal with, hearing your child repeat bad words can be a shocking experience for all parents. Given the amount of strangers that our children come in contact with in their lives at playgrounds, friends houses, and many other places they might frequent, there is a very good chance they will hear and repeat words that are not pleasing to the ear. It is for this reason that we must give them a device to deal with this pressure to "fit in" so they feel comfortable in all situations. Empower your children with a way to avoid saying the bad words that we all hear in life. Help your child with his or her list. Laugh with them as they use their imaginations and verbal skills to create words that will be more pleasing to the ear and more acceptable for a child to say.

"I don't want to say,
those words that I hear.
My friends sometimes use them.
They're loud and quite clear."

Don't be a Doofwackle
Wow! What a great book! I purchased this Book for my soon coming grandson to give to him one day, and I could not have made a better choice. This Book is well written in a rhyming type fashion, like Dr. Seuss, with large lettering and simple pictures, that, I think will really make a young mind think. This book is about the 'bad words' a young child often hears throughout their young lives and shows them one way they can deal with it, with the help of their parents of course. Very very well done! Becky J. Ayers, the Author whom I am sure is a Christian woman, is quite talented, IMHO. I see she has some others, "The Secret of Willow Patch" series which might well be worth looking into some day! Oh, forgot to mention that her book has a note written for parents, again, large print, and a place for a young childs notes and drawings (clever)!. Won't say much more...get the Book, its great!
