A childrens' book that explains the 8 mystical rules Jesus gave in the Sermon on the Mount. This little book will help children and adults understand these wonderful rules for life.

There is no better teacher than Jesus when it comes to growing closer to God. The Beatitudes, which Jesus gave us in His Sermon on the Mount are a positiveguide for kids (and adults) to love and serve God. In The Beatitudes for Children, each Beatitude is explained in a way that makes it easy for children to relate to these amazing guides for life.

Excerpt
Jesus’ second lesson:
“Blessed are the meek
for they will inherit the Earth”

When we think about the word “meek,” we tend to think about someone who is weak or wimpy.

When Jesus used the word “meek,” He meant for us to be humble, obedient, and maybe a little powerless.

When we are humble, we recognize that we can’t be a “know it all.” We need God and other people in order to grow and learn. When we are humble and obedient it is easier to love others, and especially to love God!
And by the way, we are generally more lovable too!

Think about it. Jesus is God, the Almighty!
But when He was on Earth, He chose to be very meek, and gentle. He always obeyed His Father. Even when He knew He would die on the Cross. He accepted His Father’s will, even though it would be very painful.

Jesus is our model. He taught us to follow in His footsteps—to listen and to learn from those who love us and guide us in life.
