In this sequel to "The Secret of Willow Patch-The Beginning", all the questions about the strange going's on are finally answered.

After moving to Middleton Heights and meeting Tina Brooks, a sweet girl that lived down the street, David, Sherry and Cody become entangled in an adventure that most children could only imagine. When people start vanishing, they must solve the mystery with a little help from their reclusive neighbors, which is not an easy task. As they race against the clock to find their family and friends, they meet more than a few obstacles and unusual characters along the way. Will they finally reveal The Secret of Willow Patch.
Dark clouds began to collect over the woods of Middleton Heights. The wind had become stronger, sounding like a howl through the tree branches. A storm was brewing, but not like any other storm. This one was a warning of things that have gone wrong, and of things to come. The massive tree, that had been the topic of conversation ever since the Parker family moved in, shuttered as the storm wreaked havoc on the woods. Bolts of lightning slammed into the ground and treetops, causing a deafening noise that intruded upon the ears of no one within the woods. The huge tree creaked as the wind detached all but a few leaves as it tried to contort its beautiful limbs. Within its enormous trunk, David, Sherry and Cody panicked as they tried to free themselves of the nightmare.
“David! This is what happened to Mom and Dad! I just know it!” Sherry squealed at her brother. “Do you honestly think I don’t know that Sherry? Give me a minute to figure this out!” David screamed back at his sister. Little Cody closed his eyes and whispered to himself in the darkness. “Please let Mommy and Daddy be okay, please.” Sherry saw how distressed her little brother was and tried to comfort him. She put her arm around him and could feel him shaking. “Calm down Cody. I’m sorry if I scared you, but it’ll be alright. I promise.”
As Sherry held onto Cody, David slowly ran his hand all over the blackness where they were being held, but there was nothing to be found that would help them. The three of them sat in their prison cell beneath the tree for hours.

A Spell Binding Sequel!
When Sherry, David, and Cody found themselves trapped in the bowels of the massive oak tree in the middle of the woods, they hoped it would transport them to their parents who had disappeared, which the tree did. It transported them to the underground world of Willow Patch, a place where good conquers evil, a place where love is the norm and hate isn't allowed. A place filled with immortals, from whom the Parker children discover they are descendants. When the children learn they have acquired unnatural abilities that can be used to help humans in the world above that is plagued with war, hate, and corruption, they are instructed to hone those abilities once they go back home to the world of Middleton Heights. Little do they know that their stay in Middleton Heights will be so short, and they will be called unexpectedly back to Willow Patch to live as immortals, until such time as the world comes to an end, at which point they will be transported to live with The Creator, the one who designed and made both worlds, both the human world on earth and the immortal world of Willow Patch.

Becky Ayers has successfully picked up the story of The Secret of Willow Patch from where her first book left off, to continue the exciting tale of adventure involving strange creatures that are said to be only myths, but reportedly seen in the woods throughout the world. Strange creatures like Sasquatch, and lizard men, such as those reportedly seen in the Louisiana swamps. This has been an enjoyable reading adventure into a fantasy world, where all are not who they appeared to be, where hummingbirds are the watchers of immortals turned human, reporting back to Willow Patch when it is time for the immortals to return from their human form.

Don't miss this one!
Pre-teens and teens alike will love this sequel to The Secret of the Willow Patch. Spell binding reading for all Harry Potter fans.
