As soon as I got home, I backed my truck up to the garden and started raking out the manure. It was hard work, but I knew it would be worth the trouble.
When I was almost finished, I thought I saw something move in the manure. Could it be a rat? I don't like rats, and I didn't want one in my garden. I didn't want to hurt it either, so I carefully took my rake and moved the manure to see if I could find it.
What I found was a big surprise...
