Visits to Dream Town

Compelling dream odysseys that take the reader through adventures that are pulse-pounding and frightening, ludicrous, exotic, and alluring.

You`re probably wondering what you might find in this book. Well, let`s see. There`s flying, time travel, jealousy, romance, ghosts, frequent nudity, danger, happy reunions, travels to distant countries, deliciously inappropriate sexual encounters, theft, magic, revenge, lust, supernatural beings and occurrences, sensuality, wishes finally fulfilled, sticky situations, telepathy, conquering old rivals, and impossibly ludicrous circumstances. It`s the "what if?" played out. It`s histories altered and re-written, and allowing what could never be, without consequences. You know....same old, same old!

Excerpt
Young Lovers in the Village

I turned up in a quaint little village that had a kind of European style. There were only a few buildings in the town and everyone lived above the stores. It was a friendly place. I was me, but I was 20 years old again. No one knew who I was or anything about me. I just showed up and fit right in. It was summer, everyone was outside, and there were a lot of festivities going on. One woman decided to make a gourmet feast for the whole town. So, we all lined up with our plates outside of her house.

It felt like some time had passed. Then there was a guy who liked me and in the middle of some games being played outside, he suddenly asked me to marry him. I thought, why not? I told him I would. He leaned in to kiss me which happened in very slow motion. His lips were so soft and the kiss that lingered for at least a few minutes, was delicious! But when I tried to kiss him again, I couldn`t seem to reach his face no matter how much I tried. I got very close, but I just wasn`t able to actually kiss him. Everyone heard the proposal and the acceptance and they were happy. Anything that happened in that town was known by everyone almost immediately. Some more time had passed and there were yet more celebrations. I was outside and in a good mood so I jumped really high. I could jump up and float about 20 to 30 feet in the air. People saw me doing this but didn`t say much about it, as if it wasn`t anything unusual.

All of a sudden, it started to snow. I said: “This is going to be a problem. It`s summer time and snowing”. Some people asked me why it would be a problem and I explained that I was only wearing shorts, a sleeveless top, and flip flops and that I wasn`t prepared for the winter. For some reason though, I wasn`t cold. Then I would slide over the snow with my flip flops like they were snow shoes which was a lot of fun.

Sometime later, a few people told me that I needed to get a job. It wasn`t clear what the job was going to be. This was a request of my fiancée who thought that credentials and paperwork pertaining to a job were important to have. I disagreed and was annoyed by that idea and had a strong desire then to leave that place.
