As a highly decorated CIA agent, Jennifer Johnson watches her son burned to death along with her neighbors by rogue IRS agents.
Falsely accused by a government she has sworn to uphold Amended Return is the story of her hunt for the killers and the methods she uses to clear her name.
As rogue IRS agents attempt to throw her (Jennifer's) neighbors out of their house the agents make a horrendous mistake and the neighbors, as well as Jennifer's son, are killed. Jennifer witnesses the destruction of her neighbor's home by fire after the agents have killed all the occupants and set the fire to cover their mistakes. To complicate the matter she is now in possession of the neighbor's son.
Pitted against the resources of the entire federal government she manages to elude her would be killers/captors and administers justice to those responsible for the horrible deaths of her son and neighbors. A story of cover-up's at the highest level.
Entering the hallway again she made her way down the row of offices checking each methodically. Her breath caught in her throat briefly as she kicked in the last door only to be met by a scraping sound, which she instantly drew a bead on. A large rat, the kind that only New York city could breed, was surprised by her entry and was scurrying towards a dark corner.
"Enjoy your lunch...."
Jennifer Johnson, Field Operative, Central Intelligence Agency, rapidly descended the stairs discarding the rifle as she did so. She made her way to the door stopping long enough to pick up a suitcase containing two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. She left the warehouse and disappeared into the night.
