Lists 10,000 items of speech biased in favour of one-half of the species. The language embeds ill-logic, irrationality and contradictions accepted as normal and ordinary in everyday life.

Items of speech across the Indo-European tradtions of language were collected, 20000 of them.  In Breaking the Patriarchal Code  10000 are categorized by theme, e.g., "The genitals of speech", and analyzed for their messages implicit and explicit.  It is a fascinating look at the language that addresses specifically our species and its subtle hidden agenda promoting the idea that male dominance, violence, political power and control is "the way the world is."

In the last third of the book  the author Louise Goueffic gives suggestions for inclusive and neutral items of language that benefit both genders and the whole species.  The language helps to reduce violence, aggression and the harmful effects and consequences of a language that embedded lies, ill-logic, irrationality and abracadabra solutions for the "masses" to use.

Responsible speech demands good reasoning, the price we pay for the right to speak. Page 216
