You probably think there is room for some improvement in the quality of your life or you wouldn't open this book. Are you looking for insight into what life is all about and how to free yourself to live life to the fullest each day?
This is a book about your life and a system for helping you understand yourself and others. I wrote it to share the good news of your fabulous potential through your increased awareness (knowledge) of using positive self-talk and other techniques that promoted stress-free living. A better world starts inside each of us. This book will encourage and inspire you to accept yourself, love yourself, and really think good thoughts about yourself. On that foundation you can then accept and love others. The word accept appears again and again here and is basic to the understanding of my premise. I mean for you to accept, embrace, and love yourself just because of who you are. You are God's child. Within you is divinity, your higher self, your God power, and this knowledge of who you are will help you "bloom where you grow."
Accepting others means to observe friends, loved ones, associates, and everyone around you and experience them as they are. Every time you are with someone, that person tells you strongly and clearly who he or she is and where that person is in maturity level. My use of the word accepting does not imply a judgment of approval or condonement and neither am I asking you to accept abusive, decadent, or oppressive behavior by others…

9 Chance to Feel Good About Yourself is a guide to living life with purpose and joy. It is easy to read and I found it hard to put down. This book challenges readers to look at their belief systems with an open mind.
Judy A. Laslie has done a good job providing the formula for learning how life works and how to feel good. The cover is eye-catching, and would display well with crystals and rocks. Customers seeking self-discovery will be drawn to 9 Chances to Feel Good About Yourself, and will find this book helpful.
Michigan metaphysician and numerologist, Judy A. Laslie, serves up a plate of insight and self-awareness in her first book, 9 Chances to Feel Good About Yourself.
In her book, you receive way more than just nine chances to feel good. With it's easy-to-read format and large bold headings, one can pick up the book and let it fall open anywhere, and there is bound to be a message that you can relate to immediately. The sound universal truths are arranged in such a way that you can recognize where problems and stumbling blocks originate. Part I gives an explanation of life and provides information on why we are here, how we think of our self and others and the author's perspective on how life really works. Part II provides us with the roadmap for determining specific, personal, predictable aspects and personalized insight into these areas so we can live a more rich, fulfilling life.
The book emphasizes that we always have choices, many chances, to feel good about ourselves, and that we create our own reality. Judy writes, "Self-understanding is the key to living life more effectively."
Very easy reading. You feel like Judy is right there with you, her face beaming with a wide smile, encouraging you to be the spiritually enlightened being you really are. Highly enjoyable from an author who walks her talk. Judy's final words in the book sun it up succinctly. "There is not need to organize study groups to discuss this material ... You got the message. Go out and live it."
The author gives nine chances along life's pathway to examine the universal meanings of our compatibility, rewards, insights, beliefs, goals, and joys, along with two pages of labels we use on our selves and others that are very judgmental and destructive. She tells us to remember whatever life's choices turn out to be, they are the ones we made on our own.
Blame no one else for them, take the responsibility for all our negatives along with the positives. Plus, don't let others control our thoughts, or take control.
Judy A. Laslie's affirmations for guidance, and her prayers that are sprinkled throughout the pages are food for thought. The concept of this book is self-acceptance in a nutshell. It's like having your very own personal therapist for one whole evening, and the reading is so simple and down to earth that you can rep the benefits immediately.
