Once the beautiful Princess Chauntilla, Aggie, the witch flies over the Wendle village terrorizing the half human /half goblin creatures. Playing tricks and frightening the creatures of the forest to fill her days now.
Aggie wonders if there is any hope that she will return to her former self. It was in a jealous rage that she cast a spell on her sister,Princess Dellaphina. Dellaphina was now Mavilene, the witch and the two had not spoken in ages. Perhaps the wizard, Craggle Nesbit can find the answer. Within these pages you will find a tale of witches, wizards, fairy Princesses and unicorns. They live between the human and magical world where they overcome hatred and cruel spells with the help of a magical potion mixed with love, trust and forgiveness that changes all their lives forever.
The black sky was cloaked in a blanket of dark, ominous clouds. Lightning bolts cracked across the sky, illuminating the ground below. Thunder rolled, as Aggie flew silently over the forest. A flash of lightning just missed the end of her broomstick. The icy rain felt like pins and needles on her exposed arms.
“Ouch, I feel like a pin cushion” she cried out, to no one I n particular. Another deafening clap of thunder rolled across the blackened, angry sky. Tree branches whipped and thrashed in the cruel wind. A large branch cracked and broke free from an old oak tree, hitting the forest floor with an almighty thud. Frightened wild-eyed animals scattered into the wet undergrowth. Cackling, she flew down, landing in front of the frightened creatures. She brandished her broom wildly, screaming like a banshee. The terrified animals scurried deeper into the forest, distancing themselves as quickly as possible. Aggie, straddling her broom, lifted into the black night air. Her wicked laugh could be heard in the howling frosty wind.

The Witch’s Tale
By Dawn Beaumont-Lane
If you are a fan of withes, warlocks, unicorns, and fairy folk this tale is for you. It is also a great tale for teaching about how hatred can make one ugly to the world, and how by being good on the inside can transform us on the outside.
This tale has at its core, how feelings can make someone unkind and spiteful, and by forgiveness can transform by magic. The true magic is that when people can forgive, they transform themselves in ways they never would have thought possible and find joy, peace, and love in their life. While this tale is fantasy, transformation of one’s life shown through the tale of Aggie, Mick, Mavilene, Craggle Nesbit, the Wendles, and more interesting and diverse characters found in The Witch’s Tale. Who were they and how did they become the way the beginning finds them?
See how their lives change when they learn to forgive and enhance their lives with love and friendships. Yes, there are magic potions, but they will not work if there is not forgiveness first. We are the only ones that can change ourselves, not one else can. This book is for all ages, even read to small children by their parents; there is nothing scary in The Witch’s Tale. This reviewer found it an easy and fun to read book. There is a moral to this tale, but it is not heavy-handed or preachy, just a great tale of how feelings can get in the way of enjoying life to its fullest.
There is a good lesson one can learn from The Witch’s Tale. This reviewer recommends this book, and gives it a four star rating as a must read, especially for lovers

An adventurous journey, 15 Mar 2010
This book held me and my grandchildren spellbound as we excitely turned each page to find out what happened next. This talented author has woven together a magical heartwarming story of fascinating characters, witches, wizards, unicorns and fairy princesses and has shown through these pages that love, trust and forgiveness can change lives forever. We follow the adventures of Aggie the witch and her quest to become once again the beautiful princess she once was and to see again her one true love. You are carried along on this sometimes sad, sometimes funny brilliant story until you reach the totally unexpected climax and you're left waiting for the sequel ...... or will there be one ?
Just pure magic - a page turner for all ages ! Jacquie Hunt from Wales UK
