Does the word homework make you shudder? Does it conjure up visions of crying children, angry parents and frustrated kids? Well, you're not alone. In this chapter we'll look at the reasons for homework and some ways to make the homework process easier on everyone.
I know you'll find many ideas here that you can use right away - in your classrooms and at home. Please feel free to use the suggested reference books. They are all great and have many useful ideas as well.
At the end of each chapter I've posed several questions related to the chapter material. These are provided for your own information, just to get you thinking about homework and how you feel about it.
