Many extremes, yes, but usually somewhere in the sea of job descriptions we find what folks call the “average employee.” You can still get in a rut, you can still be taken for granted, you can still wish you could clock out - if just for moment - to get your bearings or go to the Bahamas in your mind. You may have opened this book because you do in fact want to BE THE BEST EMPLOYEE YOU CAN BE. Someone may have given it to you because they thought you might want to improve in a few areas.
Maybe it’s part of a new hire packet and you gotta read it before you get your name badge. Whatever the case, we can always improve. We don’t, however, always have time to reinvent the wheel. We can, however, do our best to make sure the wheel doesn’t come off.
