"We Meet in Dreams, A New Interpretation of Dreams" is now available on Amazon, both the paperback and Kindle edition!

Description: "A book for anyone who wants to look more deeply into the true nature of their dreams. Most of us have had a dream experience that seemed "more real" than an ordinary dream, a dream that felt like it "really happened" We've wondered what made that dream feel so different, so vivid, so meaningful to us. According to author and clairvoyant Laurie Conrad, there are two kinds of dreams. One is psychological, the product of our subconscious mind, with its endless torrent of thoughts and desires. In We Meet in Dreams, the author presents us with the compelling possibility that some of our dreams are actually visits to other realms or to other places on Earth. These dreams suggest that our relationship to time and space may be less fixed than we think. Through exploring and interpreting a wide range of dreams, including flying dreams, shared dreams and nightmares, Laurie Conrad helps us to distinguish the difference between our "ordinary" dreams and "other realm" visits. In the process, many fascinating, unexpected interpretations are offered that defy the ways that dreams have been understood - until now."

FRAN VISITS GOD - An Excerpt from "We Meet in Dreams"

My friend Fran also had a dream that I feel was a true experience.   Fran was raised Catholic, but had abandoned all organized religion long before I met her.  Instead, she tried her best to be a good person, and to help others here on earth.  Fran prided herself on her own strength and independence, and strove to give an  impression of  toughness to the outer world.  However, in her late forties she was diagnosed with an aggressive  sort of cancer and had two serious and complicated cancer operations within a few years.  She was very honest about her fear of dying, and she wanted very much to continue her life here on earth.

One night, during the worst of her battle against the cancer, she dreamt that she had gone to a beautiful realm.  While there the Voice of God told her that He wanted her to stay on earth, He had work for her to do here.  When she told me the dream, I asked her what the realm was like and she sheepishly answered: “It was very beautiful and peaceful - I didn’t want to leave.”

Why do I think this was more than just an ordinary dream?  For several reasons.  First of all, in all the years I knew Fran - she had never told me any of her dreams, nor had she ever said anything about her inner spiritual life or beliefs.  This dream visit to a high realm however,  was vivid enough, real enough and felt important enough for her to want to share it with me.  In fact, she came over to my house expressly to tell me about the dream.  Secondly, the dream went against all her waking state desires and thoughts.  In waking state consciousness, she wanted very much to live on earth and was terrified of dying.  Thirdly, the dream was many, many years ago - and against all odds, the cancer has never returned.

After these dream visits to the higher realms, we should try to bask in the memory of them, recreate them within ourselves, so that we can carry the Beauty and Wonder and Love and Peace of those realms with us always - and share those qualities with others.  If we should  receive a message from those we love or a Teacher - or from our own soul -  in our dream meetings and travels in other realms, these messages should be remembered and cherished, for they in some way reflect the Love and Peace and Wisdom of those realms, and of the Soul Itself.

In the next section of this volume there are wonderful stories of dreams of floating or flying in higher realms, even among the stars.  Even if there is no meeting with a loved one, no message, as in Danielle’s story (‘Learning to Fly”) - we should still honor and cherish the experience.  Here again, we should try to recreate the experience in memory, and bring the clarity and Love and Peace of that realm with us into our waking state consciousness - for we ourselves are in a higher consciousness when we are in those realms.

In this little volume I have discussed many sorts of special dreams that are not ordinary dreams: dream meetings with beings in other realms; nightmares vs. dream visits to the lower realms; dream visits from those we love who are now in other realms; dream meetings where we help other people on earth; dream visits to other places on earth; prophetic dreams, dreams of the future; symbolic dreams; shared dreams; dreams where we travel among the stars.

I have urged you to stop visiting the lower realms, and given suggestions how to stop these dream visits; I have suggested that you honor and savor your dream meetings and visits to the higher realms and any messages you have received in those realms. I have given suggestions on how to analyze these dream visits and meetings in other realms.

But perhaps the greatest message I have for you is that no matter what realm we visit or inhabit, the substratum of all realms is Divine Light and Divine Consciousness – and that our very Essence is the Light and Love and Divinity of the Soul. And that Life, our lives and the universe we find ourselves in, are all parts of a Holy and Divine Mystery, a Mystery more orderly and more intricate than we could ever imagine.
