All the clues pointed to, Tsungdi, an ancient Chinese sedative that was once thought to be a lost mystic treasure of a past sundering empire of the Qin Dynasty. After an artifact theft at a prominent shipping company the ancient sedative is now lost among New York City’s underworld. Vazquez, Eddy James and a ruthless triad are left in a puzzling circle of betrayal after the drug is found in their possession. Detective McCall is left putting together the pieces of the mystery, searching for clues in the most dangerous places and tracking down the cities' biggest criminal suspects.
