A consolidation of information to assist and guide those experiencing separation and possible divorce written in a concise practical handbook. An inexpensive resource to make it easier and less stressful emotionally, financially and mentally from those who have experienced this perilous journey.

This Guidebook will give the reader hints on how to:

The book is divided into four chapters for easier reading and clarity.

Chapter 1 deals with "Future Directions" and deals with the myriad of thoughts, emotions, actions and responsibilites that confront the individual who is contemplating severing the marital relationship.

Chapter 2 is concerned with 'The Battle Begins" and is concerned with the more tangible matters and practical issues needed to re-establish your life and your survival.

Chapter 3 "The Legal Jungle" identifies the actual processes involved in legalising one's separation. It highlights costs,in time and money, of employing a solicitor and whether to seek free legal aid, how to avoid unnecessary outlays, exposes the court system and the frustrations assosciated with the processing of applicatiions and what to expect in relatiion to you property and assets.

Chapter 4 "Self Preservation" deals with the range of emotions most people experience during separation of the family unit and prescribes ways to develop a more positive attitude to the decisions that have been made or need to be made in order to establish a more stable and secure future.

thoughts and actions will improve things. In many situations, a lot of
time, money and emotions would have been preserved if the decision
to re-establish a new beginning could have been made with the right
approach and right attitude. I hope that this book may offer a guide to
some of the issues that you will most definitely encounter if you have
no choice other than to separate from your partner. I also hope that it
will aid you to better prepare for that experience as well as for your
