Sheila Brown and Mary McCromick are lovers and the lead and rhythm guitarists for the band Great Big Something. They go into therapy to work on their relationship, as they are haivng problems with it. Meanwhile their bassist and drummer, Rhonda Polansky and Claudia Weinburg, breakup in the middle of a tour, leaving Shelia, Mary, and the band's keyobardist Martha Geiger to scramble to find a replacement. The gay/lesbian rock music scene is dedicated to geting rid of homophoibia and sexsim in rock and bringing gay rights to rock, as Stonewall never happened in rock.
