Fiction

A story about the pursuit of purpose, the gradations of change in the progress toward that purpose, and the immeasurable joy discovered when reaching new heights of the human potential.

The primary characters, Tahiri and Zaddik are in honest and complete devotion toward the pursuit of purpose in their lives. Independent of one another, they have obtained exceptional heights of success in their personal careers. When the factor of time upon destiny intervenes from a spiritual place, it causes each to sense that a change is in the wind of their future. That change - a call, a mission, a purposed destiny - unveils itself through a community crisis that causes the two of them to serendipitously meet.

A life-affirming tapestry is woven with colorful thread - dimensionally variegated - with power that ties jazz to morning dew; African heritage to pageantry, dance, fashion and theatre, then, blends mystery to hope.

This hope, in the midst of heartache lights the path of personal transformation that Tahiri and Zaddik choose to live, in a journey that ultimately transforms the lives of many others whose life-trek is that of soaring on clipped wings.

Shades of Romance Magazine

This was an uplifting story about the human potentials through the interesting lives of Zaddik Freedman and Tahiri Meroe. They are devoted to fulfill their purpose in life as soon as they find out what their purpose is. They are united in a plan that enhances their lives. Their road to a better life is an obstacle course with many bumps in the road. Yet, this couple comes to terms with everything that life has to offer and rise above it all.

This is an inspirational romance novel. I found it to be interesting and a good read. The author is creative and it was a storyline with a lot of emotions and made you think about your own life experiences. I found Tahiri's experiences to be so real that I thought the author interviewed my friends and myself for her story.

This is a story that will make you want to think about your life as it is and possible make the changes necessary to have a better life. It isn't your typical romance novel, but it is a romance story about loving yourself before you can love someone else. I would definitely recommend this novel and hope that you enjoy it too.
