Jon Rushing has finally found the answer to a lifetime of misplaced guilt and misery. Tracey Scott is unlike anyone Jon has ever met before. She's completely open and honest, ever true to her own heart... and set on having a baby, ASAP. Jon is the man of Tracey's dreams, but she isn't sure she can trust her heart not to blind itself to his past obsessions--ones that could easily come back to destroy them both.

Even as Jon vows to be everything she'll ever need and Tracey sets her heart on him, the past rears its ugly head. What Tracey wants most of all is the one thing Jon can't give her... unless he can find a way to go back in time and reverse the damage.

Professional Reviews

Affaire de Couer
4 1/2 Stars!
"Set in Wisconsin, this mainstream novel has a mixture of traditional values
and contemporary reality. Tightly written and fast-paced, the story deals
with serious issues every modern woman must face. Wiesner's work will
appeal to fans of more sophisticated women's fiction without alienating the
romance genre crowd. She blends both fields with skill."

Inscriptions
"Karen Wiesner brings the characters to life with her words. We are drawn
into Tracey and Jon's world from the first sentence and not able to leave
until the end. And even then, you wish you could keep following their lives.
With every obstacle crossed, the characters are faced with another. Not all
of their decisions are thought out which helps to make them real people.
Real people living only in the pages of this book.

The storyline gripped me from the moment I read the first line. This is the
perfect book to sit down with on a rainy night and devour while everything
else in the world is invisible. A truly entertaining book for anyone."

Scribes World Reviews
4 1/2 Stars! "With each Gypsy Road book I read, the main character gets more and more intense. If Jon is this intense, internally and externally, I can't imagine what Blackie is going to be like--maybe I'll need to keep the tissues handy. Since I'm a sucker for tortured heroes, I can tell you that FIRE & ICE is one terrific story. Jon Rushing is one of those heroes who will touch your heart and stay with you long after you've finished the story. Karen Wiesner is definitely a writer to watch."
