I've always marvel at poets and their ability to put such heart and soul into short, rhythmic pieces that had the ability to flow and expose their feelings. I found myself getting into the flow, the beat, the rhythm of McClellan's pieces, and often times found myself understanding his pain, his joy...as those of my own. His poetry is simplistic, yet it taps into you with deep understandings of not only the author, but of yourself. I have several favorites in this small collection, with just a few being "Door of Solitude," "Dawn's Caress," "Poet on Trial," "I Need Motivation," "Lady Blue," and "Day to Day."



I enjoyed this collection of poetry by McClellan, and would definitely recommend it to those who are interested in the poetic word.
