Willie is a retired Army NCO after 20 years of service. He served tours in three foreign countries and spent most of his army career at Fort Bragg, N.C. Willie grew up at Wilmington, N.C. Willie loved to read as a small child and the knowledge that he found in books fascinated him. Nowadays, Willie is a Consumer Affairs Investigator and resides in Virginia. He has a wife, Ruth, two adult children, April and Frederick, and two grand daughters, Janina and Lisa Marie. Willie hopes that his book, which sends messages about his family's sins, will influence other people not to make the same mistakes. Read Aloud Virginia
I am involved with Read Aloud Virginia as an author. I will go to schools and read aloud passages of my books to the students to encourage them to read. This program was formed after school psychologists determined that children and teenagers developed better read comprehension skills if their parents read aloud to them. You can help this program by visiting their website and signing up as a volunteer or subscribing to the newsletter . I will also be conducting fundraisers during the future to assist this program.

Virginians Against Domestic & Sexual Violence
I (Willie) am a member of Virginians Against Domestic & Sexual Violence. I have give presentations at Domestic Violence workshops for Lifeline Ministries and the Chesterfield County, Virginia Domestic Violence Unit. I will continue giving speeches at workshops about how domestic violence changed the lives of my family members for several generations.
