William R. Potter attempted his first novel at age eleven. (something about a giant crab attacking Vancouver...)
The teen years kept his imagination in a state of unrest and he chose poetry to journal personal achievements and the events of the times. He published a piece in an anthology in 2000.
He returned to his love of storytelling in his twenties with numerous short stories; and now in his thirties, has completed two unpublished, full-length novels (in 2004 and 2006).
Writing and publishing LIGHTING THE DARK SIDE- Six Modern Tales has allowed William to experiment with different writing techniques, genres and characters. The book is now available online, and will soon appear in the AD Autoghrpahed Bookstore as well as Amazon, Borders, Barnes and Noble etc.
Influences include Michael Connelly, Kathy Reichs, Dean Koontz, and many others.
He considers writing one of lifes true pleasures and enjoys movies, reading, the outdoors and spending time with his kids.
William R. Potter resides in Vancouver with his wife and two children.
