Some people become better-known in death than in life. This may become the case with actor/writer/director, Steve Ihnat. Well on his way to the top of the Hollywood A-list of the best-of-the-best, with a handsome face instantly recognizable by scores of fans of 1960s and early 1970s television and film, Steve strongly made his mark in such roles as the maniacal Lord Garth of Izar in the Star Trek episode, "Whom Gods Destroy," [1969] the mysterious military man whose brain was overtaken by an otherworldly force in the two-part episode, "The Inheritors" from The Outer Limits [1964], and madman criminal Barney Benesch in the movie, Madigan [1968]. His credits read like a laundry list for every show that ever aired on the tube in the late 1960s, and his industry peers ultimately became some of today's best-known and well-respected stars of the small and large screen. All liked and respected Steve Ihnat. He was one of them.

Death came to Steve when he was only thirty-seven years old, presumably from a heart attack, as reports all these years since have stated. Yet extensive research into circumstances has uncovered many inconsistencies and troubling concerns surrounding his passing, concerns which call into question how he did die. What exactly happened? What was going on at the time of his death ... with his business dealings and some curious personal relationships? It has been over forty-five years but these questions are finally seeing the light of day, and the answers are, at very least, uncomfortable and troubling. On the other side of the spectrum, they're potentially criminal.

One thing agreed upon by many of today's biggest names in Hollywood ... Steve Ihnat would have been among the best-of-the-best, and today, his life deserves the attention it never received when he lived.

Linda Alexander has written since she was a kid. Growing up starry-eyed amid the '70s entertainment scene, she began writing about well-known movie and TV stars, soon figuring out how to work that fascinating detail into biographies and novels. Since the early ‘80s, she's written for magazines, newspapers, and websites. Credits include Soap Opera Update, Spotlight, Baton Rouge Advocate, Washington Times, and an appearance on The Oprah Show. With nine books on the market—six biographies, two dark, sexy suspense novels, one television compendium—and another TV compendium due next year, characters live large in her head 24/7, forever talking to her. She always talks back, and conversations are always entertaining.

She has been an adjunct faculty member at a local community college, as well as a community library, with a popular course, “Getting Into Character: How To Develop Your People.” Writers from beginning to experienced learned how to listen, respond to, and trust, the voices in their heads.

Linda has made her biggest mark in writing biographies on classic Hollywood stars.

By 1967, everyone in Hollywood had their eye on him. And five years later ... he was, somewhat mysteriously, dead.
