I worked in the wedding event industry for 15 years. During that time, I always loved hearing the stories of how people met and what obstacles they'd overcome. I wanted to create a character who was surrounded by love daily, yet couldn't find her own fairy tale ending. I wanted her to acknowledge that the fairy tale doesn't exist and that love takes work and compromise, but I also wanted her to never lose hope for her own happily ever after.

The third volume in the Tales Behind the Veils series has just been released, so fans of Diary of a Single Wedding Planner can continue following Tyler on her journey through the second and third volume in the series.
