Visions of Another Letter
I feel like we’re on the edge of a vowel,
or the skew of a consonant, a revelation.
Of a reason of human obliqueness of being.
That’s why it’s hidden from the world’s light.
Imagine the new words and meanings
a new letter could give us! It would be like
a ‘second sight’, or a ‘third eye’
if it could exist, if … we wished it
into being.
The new letter might sound like an ‘iss’,
or an ‘err’, or a ‘flree’, a speckled nuance of all sounds,
combined into the divine sound
of a God sighing, as if It we more...
