This poetry is about an ardent self examination- which will father a rebirth of the mind & convey peace to your soul.
'Breaking Through" is a compilation of poetry, about people trying to relate to God, and God searching our hearts for faith. some of the 41 poems incure the author's family, esp. "My Lane" a poem about his mom, who passed when he was a year old... Bob never knew his mom.

My memory of Elias is intimate but brief; I asked him, "what happened, where are you taking me, who are you? Tell me!"
In a calm voice; "Sara hush, you died.
Suddenly, the second floor gave way, imploding onto the first floor family room. By then the whole castle was nothing more than a blazing furnace consuming everything… As the four family members collapsed with it in one thunderous impact, it rolled them onto their sides, leaving them charred and huddled together. I heard faint groans nixed with painful cries, even amongst the roaring fire and crashing beams; their bodies ill-covered in ash and chunks of red hot embers, with steam emitting from within…there was very little life left. Author R.L. Mitchley, gets some help from his close friend Elias, as they franticly work to reunite Bob with three of his deceased family members, Grammy, Pappy & Arlene for one last time...
In the title story, my mom Arlene can't find her ring finger. Grammy misplaces the cookies & Pappy wants to go to an auction just like he use to before he died. This story & five others dig deep into the paranormal realm which incircles the author's family.
