Dark Matter is the 6th novel in The Adventures of Megan Martin series.

It transports them to and strands them on a living spaceship filled with specimens in hibernation. All the aliens they find on board are in hibernation and the girls have the run of the place.
The girls meet one challenge after another as they work to solve the mysteries. Finding the crown's charging station, they discover two more control crystals. When unsuspecting Megan uses the silver crystal she literally downloads an energy angel that becomes part of her. Now she's half human, half angel and totally awesome. They discover the great elders are behind the plot and want them to give humanity a fighting chance against a joint fallen angel/alien invasion. Now Megan just wants her life back but she can't get rid of Ember, the angel who lives within her.
Filled with demons, aliens, and assorted bad guys, the girls deal with MIBs, ghosts, and a ruthless business man as they unravel the mysteries and learn what they must do. Along the way they make new friends including a doctor, an actress with a mysterious past, a Russian spy, and a few aliens. Some are given quarters on board their delta class lightship.
The first Ember Reign novel introduces the main characters of the series and explains how they come into posession of what might be considered alien technology.
The story beings with a prologue with Megan as Ember Reign saving a famliy from thier burning home in the middle of a Winter storm.
She tells the young Chloe she reminds her of another girl she once knew.

Our first publisher went out of business causing all 6 of these novels to go out of print and preventing the seventh and final novel of this series from being written.
Some fans of the original series ask me frequently about the seventh novel but without a publisher it wasn't going to happen. Thanks to their frequent reminders I decided to try to give them what they are asking for.

Megan discovered the crown not only transports to three-dimensional places but there are fourth-dimensional places she can go too once she learns how. In the end of novel 3 she discovers this place and she discovers a fourth-dimensional craft there she names “Orion.” Now she must show May and Brianna what she found and learn how to use Orion. They go on a journey to another star system where they discover a race of beautiful little people living among dinosaurs.
