Born in the Bronx and raised in Harlem not even he envisioned his future motivation. He never thought of writing. In fact, he loathed anything that required expression, or feelings. The words became his quest and despite not knowing their true meaning to him, at a young age when he felt lost, Earl Williams, could not silence them. That combined with years of failures and self-doubt led to him writing poems just for fair play at the age of 15. Little did he know how far he would go. Everywhere he went he'd write more and more just to impress females who were not the least interested with what he had to offer. Throughout the journey, he lives with his failures and losses which include fail on test during his early years in school, because he was not viewed as having potential, then being placed in foster care while in middle, which ultimately turned him around; being kicked out of the military twice between the age of 20 and 23, being terminated from Banana Republic because careless decision-making in 2007, losing two teaching jobs within a 5 month span. He has spent a large amount of his life examining how society reacts to these findings by looking into situations involving teens within the homes with parents who bask in their glory for all the wrong reasons. Mr. Williams has longed lived a fight against teens who've been abuse and children who are neglected based on their socio economic status quo. He sought out to change things, and in doing so he wrote Rain of Deception. He learned early on in life that not everyone believes in his cause. When he signed with his first publication company February 2012, he thought it was the perfect match. It would doom him as he spent money, on a failed investment and time just for a publisher to do unethical things with his work. He never received what was written in his contract and respectfully asked to be released from his publishing contract on December 31st of 2012. He would retain all legal rights to the story no one wanted because of its content. That same day, he me another writer Marie Norfleet, who helped change his life for the better. It was because of her, Leah Frieday, Tyresha Tyler, Eloise Thames, and Jerrice Owens that Rain of Deception on March 17, 2014 received a second chance at life. The book would go on to generate more than just money. The message he wanted to send was buzzing, so much so that in November of 2015, Rain of Deception 2: Road to Redemption, was released as a sequel. Throughout it all, Mr. Williams has been blessed with 3 wonderful children, 4 stepchildren, a grandson, a supportive wife in Breahna, an family and some amazing supporters. He has also earned a Master Degree in Education from Metropolitan College of New York, a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English Writing from the College Staten Island and a Minor in Business, which took him 16 years to acquire, and he also has an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and Science. He acquired all of his college after the age of 32. Earl N. Williams wants to save lives, not destroy them by bringing bad guys to justice, and by being that voice of the youth, which he feels has long been ignored. Despite so many voids Mr. Williams has always found solace in the mind of the pen. Now in his 40's and again lost, he wants to captivate a new generation of audience, and hopefully one day, make it to the big screen!
