Hi.  My name is Nicole Holmquist.  I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister and a friend.  I currently live with my husband and our two girls in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California and love it!  I was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in Greenville County, South Carolina.    I am a gratefully reunited adoptee, as well.  My book is the story of my personal journey to find my way home again.  I was inspired to write it by my best friend.  (We get so very few of those in life and I consider myself blessed).  I've been many things in my life, including an abused wife. (Escaping that is another reason for my gratitude).    My story is a very honest portrayal of my life and my experiences.     Every experience, each person, has shaped, influenced and changed me in a very deep way.  It has given me a true appreciation for the miracle that this life is.  There's always so much more going on than what we see at the time.  And we never know who our stories will affect when we share them. So we must share them.    That's true power and beauty and we are just the humble journeyers; wide-eyed and awestruck!
