Background
Information
I am a steadfast reader and writer. What motivates me is my love of the written word and conducting research. I am a research nerd and love to learn about many topics. Even the book about Moon, a dog that blessed my life, a lot of research was conducted. I decided to write the book with Moon being the narrator. I needed to be able to think like a dog and discover why dogs do what they do. The topics I write about are varied and I find very interesting from things that go bump in the night to what it is like to live in the Upper Peninsula of MIchigan as a Yooper to what life is like for Native Americans. Shadow Travelers was written after I completed my masters thesis on Native American boarding schools. I covered many areas in that book from fur trading to modern day issues many Native Americans are facing. I seek to provide the readers of my books with interesting and informative information.
