Poem of Love
Patricia E. Miller
Life goes on day by day,
And I sit here and I wonder.
How things are the next time we talk,
That next time I would hear your voice.
Your voice saying how are you,
The laughter, a snicker, or a sound.
Night is so quiet and long,
Morning comes and goes so fast.
When I think of you, all the time,
Wishing for the time to be with you.
I sit here and wondering,
Hoping are you thinking of me.
As I sit here thinking of you always,
Of you wishing I near to you.
With each other holding one another,
With a touch and smile a whisper.
