I was born and raised in Wheeling, West  Virginia and now reside in Florida. Although I like Florida, nowhere is closer to my heart than the hills and valleys of Wheeling. Green fields of clover and the silent wooded areas became a playground where memories were born and treasured as I grew up. Friends, family, a wonderful childhood, all that came from that time and place remain embedded in my heart. "There's no place like home." My novel takes place in my hometown. The Kahills of Willow Walk,  proves the enduring quality of family and its hope for the future, even when the unexpected and the unthinkable change the dynamics in ways never dreamed possible.
