I have been a writer for as long as I can remember.  It is what I am, not what I do.  My mind functions on a different wave lenght than most other people's.  Like my fellow writers, when i see something, or hear something, or anything something, it is filtered through my brain as potential material for a book, or story, or poem.  Non-writers, even my closest friends and family don't understand how my mind works, and frankly, sometimes I don't either.  That being said, I will add only two other pieces of information to my biography, writing is like breathing for me, and I've told my children, the day I can't tell a good story is the day they should shoot me and put me out of my misery. On a happier note, those of you who have been reading my work will be happy for me, at least I hope you will, because I have finally made a book deal for my fantasy novel about Sha'Mung (for those who don't know about my fantasy world see my short story Sha'Mung and the Great He and She to find out about it). Life for me is a nerver ending challenge. I draw my strength from my faith to not just indure the up and down, but to overcome them. This year I celebrated my 19th year as a breast cancer surviver. Not bad for someone who was given 2 years to live. I also learned in my self-imposed exile to rely more on God and less on myself. He has answered every prayer I said. All I had to do was wait patiently.
