Esteban A. Martinez, lives in Denver, Colorado, where he practices law. His first novel, "In Memory of Gods and Heroes," came out in September 2002. He previously published short fiction and poetry, including a version of the first chapter from ". . . Gods and Heroes" which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He took a break from creative writing between 2008 and 2009 and started again in 2010.
