Chuck Kelly is the author of the young adult fantasy series "Legend of Otherland", published in paperback by Crimson Cloak Publishing, The first book "Evil Does Exist", is about a planet not too far from planet that could exist in your imagination. "Adventure Underground", the second book, finds Bunker taken prisoner by a one-ince tall man who takes him to the center of Otherland to help defend the Flooglebopers against the Bargolians. In the third book "Adventure ins Space" Bunker and Gittel find themselves in Steven Charles' new spaceship as stowarys. The fourth book "Adventure in the Secret City" is about a mystical city that is not at all as it appears.
Before becoming a writer, Chuck attended Oklahoma University where he played trombone with the Marching 100. After a stint at the US Navy School of Music, he became a professional musican and played trombone with Ray McKinley, Dizzy Gillespie and other bands. He expanded his talents to become a group singer and sang with the Jones Boys, the Modernaires with Paula Kelly and other vocal groups. He eventurally became a studio singer where he sang on many recordings with Henry Mancini, Johnny Mathis, Kay Starr, Count Basie, Alan Copeland, Billy May, etc.. He performed on several network television shows that included 5 1/2 seasons on the Red Skelton Hour and 2 seasons on the Danny Kaye Show. He appeared on several TV specials that starred Bing Crosby, Andy Griffith, Danny Thomas, Dick Van Dyke, etc. He sang on motion picture sound tracks that include, "Sweet Charity," 'Hello Dolly," "Peter Gunn," Darling Lilly," 'Star," "The Plainsman," 'The Great Race", etc..
Chuck has written for the National Enquirer, International Musician, Playboy, Ebony, Eros, Society of Singers Newsletter, etc. Chuck was technical writer for the book on education, "The Alchemy of Intelligence;" technical editor for the medical textbook, "Pharmacology, Biology, and Clinical Applications of Androgens," for Harbor-UCLA Medical Research Center. He has written technical material for Northrop, Hughes Aircraft Company, etc., and was 'on call' proposal writer/editor at Boeing.
Chuck has a Master's Degree in Communication and Organizational Theory from International College. He is also a Certified Hypnotherapist.

Memberships and honors include SAG-AFTRA, ASCAP, and Society of Singers Board of Directors, 1986-93. The Marquis Who's Who Publications Board recognizes Chuck H. Kelly as a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, 2017. Chuck is listed in "5,000 Personalities of the World;" "Who's Who in Entertainment," 1992-97; "Who's Who in America," 1991-2011; '"Who's Who in the World," 1999; "International Who's Who in Music," Third Edition; Rene Laanen's "Trombone Page of the World" (current).
