Born in 1927 as the Civil War Reconstruction Era faded into the "Great Depression" before World War II, Cline Clark participated after the war in the the great bloody "civil rights" movement that opened the pathway for an African-American President of the United States.  Few who once spoke with ex-slaves could have anticipated such spiritual progress in a single lifetime. Living the 20th Century hinge of history before atoms, electric lights, telphones, radio, airplanes, automobiles, superhighways, and even "indoor plumbing" became commonplace, Clark witnessed the rise and fall of empires built upon old ideas that are crumbling as their world is now ending. Experiencing four-score-years and more of U.S. history, Cline Clark sought personal answers to questions posed by the confusing teachings of parents, peers, professors, preachers, politicians and others who perpetuated the propaganda of past generations. When he was sixteen years old, he entertained friends at parties with demonstrations of hypnotism.  When he was nineteen years old, as a World War Two combat veteran, he was fascitated by the mind-controlling influence of the oratory of Adolph Hitler.  His spellbinding speeches held sway over the German population until the day he committed suicide as the combined armies of the United States, England, France, Russia, Reconstituted Poland and Italy stood within a few blocks of the bunkeer in which he continued control of the remnants of the military and political party he commanded. This began his study and research into the underpinnings of government and religious political structures and propaganda that manipulated and controlled the minds of not only their followers, but other people . . . and how to escape and avoid personal entrapment. Through his writings and webcasts, Clark now shares his discoveries, opinions and conclusions in articles, blogs, various websites linked from Authors' Den updated on his proposed weekly newsletter..                                                                 # # #    

In 1979, conducting his private counseling and hypnotherapy practice, Clark realized that some of his clients held advanced professional degrees and licenses while he, himself, had no formal degrees or academic certification! He dropped out of his pre-medical studies in 1949 to pursue a career in entertainment.

So, he transferred his LSU credits to Los Angeles City College, enrolled in a semester of easy courses (public speaking, story telling, etc.), and earned an A.A. (Associate in Arts) degree just to have something on record that indicated he had some formal education!

He served briefly as Methodist Chaplain to Louisiana State Charity Hospital in New Orleans and Pastor to St. John's Methodist Church in New Sarpy, Louisiana.

During the "School Integration" era, he was expelled from Amite and Roseland, La., when KKK pressures led merchants there to act upon the signs posted in their establishments reading, "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." The signs were there to keep non-whites out, but they worked equally well against "integrationists."

In 1963, Clark anonymously conducted the "Zetetic Christian Mystic" broadcast over Radio WWOM-FM in New Orleans to counter KKK racist propaganda broadcasts. This ended when his identity was leaked and the station advised
him to discontinue.

All of these adventures were shared with Alma, his wife, whose love and emotional support were an essential part of the struggle.

He and Alma then left New Orleans and arrived in Los Angeles during the "Watts Riot."

None of this may be considered achievements, certifications, and awards -- it's simply part of the adventure.
