I read Bram Stoker's Dracula at age 13 and never looked back. From then on, I read voraciously about vampires and the paranormal. Stephen King was my idol for many years, then Anne Rice and Robert McCammon. As I grew older, I began to read Christian Fiction thrillers from Ted Dekker, Bill Myers and Frank Peretti. I would say that nowadays, my style is a eclectic combination of thes authors; with my own particular brand of tongue-in-cheek humor thrown in for good measure. My work can be read by kids as young as 13 because there is no profanity or explicit sex -- but there is violence and adult themes that they will (hopefully) not comprehend. The work appeals most to the discerning reader who loves character study, intriguing original plot lines and real conversations from real people in unreal situations. One fan said, "This is exactly what I would do/say if this happened to me! [i.e. monsters in the room!]"  Another fan gushed, "The way you write, it's like a movie in my head. I feel like I just saw the movie RABBIT:CHASING BETH RIDER and I can't wait for the sequel!" My intention is to entertain myself by spilling all of this stuff out of my creativity, then pass it on to the reader to enjoy over and over again. I have one challenge for my readers: I'll bet you can't read it just once!
