I have enjoyed reading literature since my late teens and writing poetry I thought was the quickest way into the world of books.
I'm still writing verse for my own amusement and mental exercise, though it's about time I attempted short stories, scripts, children's stories, plays, etc.
For the past 16 years I've been an English teacher in China which has been a challenge to my free spirit, I have to say.
I enjoy reading science fiction and watching sci-fi tv series, presently loving the mini-series 'V' from the 80s.
Music is another inspiration, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, David Bowie, and sometimes even some country gospel
as I like to see people enjoying fellowship rather than suffering disharmony and isolation.
