I am a native Texan with hillbilly roots from the Ozarks and Appalachians. My great sense of humor and big heart allows me to relate to many different people. Blazing Star Books is my personal company and I offer a great variety of books by myself and other authors. 

Ridin', Ropin', and Jumpin' Over Cars has won both a Will Rogers Medallion award and first place at the North Texas Book Festival. The resulting documentary has won nine awards at various film festivals around the USA.

Two screenplays I have written have also been recognized at film festivals. One is based on my inspirational fiction "The Perfect Place of Knowledge."
