Born in Cleveland, TN, I attended the University of TN (Go Vols) where I earned both Bachelors and Master's degrees in Speech Pathology.  Twenty-two years, two daughters and one, 20 year marriage later, I'm still loving my profession.  I started a business specializing in the area of NeuroTechnology for children and adults and currently, a large part of the business is The Aurora Day School, which accelerates learning for children with learning challenges.  I have written articles and given presentations and workshops as well as taken my programs and techniques internationally.  Now, I am writing for pleasure.  

President of the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association; Vice President of the American Association of Speech Pathology and Audiology; Leadership Award for the National Republican Association; Award presentation for the International Advanced Brain Conference; Achievement Award Aid for Autism; Academe of the Oak Advisory Board; my school and philosophy on Autism treatments have been featured in two documentaries.
