I'm a Graphic Artist/Operations Manager during the day for a sign company in Tampa, Florida. I write at night/weekends. I've wanted to be a writer since high school, but was told by a teacher that I didn't have what it took to become a published author. Because of my love of reading, I began getting ideas from other authors, such as Nora Roberts, J.A. Jance and Iris Johansen. While in college, my creative writing instructor gave me an opportunity to write a book with him. I did and it was my first published book. It is entitled "Tampa". My second book was published in Sept. 2002 entitled "Clearwater". Both books are non-fictional pictorials. I've also written poetry for many years through my own trials and tribulations which two of them have been published. My past childhood and my own children have been my truest motivators.
